The Board of Supervisors on Dec. 16 continued an appeal of a Public Works decision approving a tentative parcel map for a mixed-use condominium project at 3333 Mission Street and 190 Coleridge Street to the Feb. 3, 2026 meeting.
Supervisor Fielder moved to continue the hearing and associated motions; Supervisor Chen seconded. The board took public comment limited to the continuance. Connie Hsieh, housing development project manager at Bernal Heights Neighborhood Center and member of the project team, urged the board to keep the Feb. 3 date, saying delays increase fees and imperil critical grant applications for a 100% affordable senior housing development.
By contrast, Dennis Williams Jr., a San Francisco-based micro-developer and Fillmore Community Development Corporation executive, urged delay, arguing the city must scrutinize development models that "benefit private capital while weakening every community that depends on stability, affordability, and local control." After public comment the board voted without objection to continue the appeal and associated motions to the Feb. 3, 2026 board meeting.
Next steps: the continuance preserves the Feb. 3 hearing date; the board will hear the appeal and related motions on Feb. 3, 2026 unless further continuances are requested.
