The Treasure Island Mobility Management Agency Committee heard an informational presentation Oct. 28 from the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency on proposed parking legislation that would establish metered on-street parking across Treasure Island and Yerba Buena Island.
Swanee Cho, assistant deputy director for planning, told the committee the island’s Transportation Implementation Program approved by the Board of Supervisors in 2011 called for priced, metered on-street parking and parking maximums, and that SFMTA is advancing legislation to put on‑street regulations in place as rebuilt streets come online.
