After discussion the committee voted to amend the ordinance and continue it as amended to the Dec. 1 meeting; the clerk recorded three ayes.
Item 2 (Central Neighborhoods Large Residence SUD / Corona Heights SUD) was presented by Board President Rafael Mandelmann and Planning Department manager Aaron Starr. The sponsor described the SUD as a tool to address oversized "monster homes" in District 8 and offered cleanup amendments to clarify gross-floor-area calculations and conditional-use language; Planning staff said the revisions improve clarity and implement prior planning-commission suggestions. The committee adopted the sponsor's cleanup amendments and continued the item to Dec. 1 for consideration alongside related upzoning work.
Votes: For both items the committee took motions to amend and continue to Dec. 1 and the clerk recorded the motions as passing with three affirmative votes.
