The Nottoway County Board of Supervisors opened its organizational meeting by approving the agenda with an amendment and then conducted nominations and voice votes to choose leadership for 2026.

Speaker 2 nominated a candidate identified in the transcript as "miss Bill Collins" for chair; after closing nominations the board approved the nomination by voice vote. The board similarly nominated and confirmed a vice chair by voice vote.
