I can't remember off the top of my head," he told the board. The mayor said the city must obtain a foreclosure judgment before it can move forward with cleanup using outside funds.
No cleanup contractor, cost estimate or exact funding source was named at the meeting. Board members were told the city is pursuing grant and Brownfield-associated funding channels through regional partners to address the site after the foreclosure process is complete.
The board asked for updates on the foreclosure and funding progress; staff said they will report back when the court action concludes and funding avenues are more certain.
