At the meeting, the chair asked for and received motions to approve several routine items. The board voted to recommend approval of the 2026–27 Mifflin County Academy (MCAS) school calendar after a motion and second; roll call produced affirmative votes recorded as 'Yes.'

The board also approved an overnight field trip to the 2026 ProStart competition at the Hershey Lodge for five culinary students, naming Travis McCullough and Michelle Royer as chaperones. Multiple board members voiced support for the competition as a hands-on learning opportunity.

Earlier in the meeting the treasurer presented the December 2025 bills and the treasurer's report; the board moved, seconded and approved the bills and the treasurer's report by roll call.

No personnel actions were recorded at this meeting, and board members closed with thanks to an alternate member for attending before adjourning.
