Kirsten Robertson, director of land development, presented three more candidates: Dalton Smith, an SEPSC-certified land-development inspector who recently attended a fluvial geomorphology course to support the county’s capital improvements program and has worked for the county more than a year; Isabella Metz, a project manager who is state plan-review certified and employed two years; and Steven Hagan, a land development inspector with SETCE certification and about ten months with the county. A committee member moved to approve commissioning for all five candidates; the chair called for a voice vote and the motion carried.
The committee thanked the new appointees and noted the role of field staff in code enforcement and land development work.
Next step: the committee forwarded commissioning to the full council as appropriate.
