The board opened nominations for the 2026 officer slate; Michael Perkle was nominated and consented to serve. In the absence of additional nominations, the board approved his election by voice vote. Nominations for vice chair followed; Miss Childs initially nominated herself but later withdrew, and Mr. Nieves consented to serve when nominated. The board approved Mr. Nieves by voice vote.
The elections were procedural and took place at the meeting opening. The chair then turned to the agenda’s substantive items.
