Planning staff presented an easement-encroachment request for 5113 Washington Road (the Wendy's site) during the Development Planning Services Committee meeting on Jan. 13. Staff explained that a county sanitary sewer line exists in the easement and that, when the Wendy's was built, the site installed a trench drain through the easement to route stormwater to its destination.

Planning staff recommended approval of an encroachment that would allow the trench drain to remain in place. Committee members indicated no concerns and moved to approve the request by consent; the chair recorded the item as moved to consent and approved.
