Commission hears administrative-plat updates for Yavapai, Copper Vista and Granite Dells phases

Planning staff presented three administrative/final plats queued for processing: a Yavapai Drive revision, a Copper Vista parcel revision adjacent to Primavera school, and final plats for Granite Dells Estates phases 6a–6d; addresses and record numbers will be added to the public packet.
Planning manager Alex Bramlett updated the commission on three administrative and final plat items staff will publish for public notice and recording.
Bramlett described a Yavapai Drive revision (Block B of Pinecrest) that adjusts lot lines to avoid existing structures, a Copper Vista revision that transfers a triangular parcel to Primavera (a local school/daycare), and a consolidated final plat for Granite Dells Estates phases 6a–6d that staff determined was in substantial conformance with the preliminary plan.
Bramlett said staff will include addresses and record numbers in the packet when published and said the final-platted lots will then be recorded and released for development. Commissioners requested visuals in future packets to better understand plot changes; Bramlett said staff can include plots and is open to feedback about the level of detail provided.
The items were presented as informational updates; staff indicated the administrative path for final plats is appropriate when there is no increase in dwelling units from the originally approved master plan, and that larger projects likely will still require planned-area developments or development agreements subject to Planning & Zoning and city council review.
