Planning manager Alex Bramlett told the commission the owner of 402 and 410 East Goodwin has completed the requested wood siding and removed the CMU caps. The property owner inquired about adding a brick cap to the existing fence. Bramlett said staff considered the brick cap a minor change but sought the commission's feedback on whether to require the owner to return to the Preservation Commission for formal review.

Commissioners noted brick is an acceptable material but observed that there is little other brick on the property and that the commission's earlier concern was about cap projection and massing, not material alone. Bramlett said staff can return with options and process recommendations if the owner elects to pursue brick caps. Bramlett also reminded commissioners that reapplication materials for expiring terms are live and that no PPC is scheduled for February at the time of the meeting.
