Committee sets Feb. 5 subcommittee review for student-led community calendar project

Several members cautioned against publicly evaluating a high-school student and recommended that adult mentors (Cheryl) handle any performance or mentoring conversations. The committee agreed the subcommittee will do a "post-mortem" review if needed and will consider inviting Cheryl to a later full-board meeting or an executive-session discussion to address adult-to-adult process and communication.
The committee also asked for written materials in advance of the Feb. 5 meeting so the subcommittee and full board are not "walking in blind." The subcommittee will determine whether the community calendar deliverables can be integrated into the town’s community-calendar platform and will report back at the Feb. 12 meeting.
