Council unanimously approves four resolutions on appointments, park land, and property transactions

After adopting minutes from prior meetings, the council considered four new business resolutions. President Pro Tem De Lucia moved the motion and Alderman Nystrom seconded; the roll call recorded seven 'yes' votes and the motion passed 7–0.
Resolution 2 authorized the city manager to merge 11 city‑owned parcels into Mohegan Park. Council members said the parcels total about 80 acres and will expand the park by nearly 20% of its existing land (the park already has roughly 350 acres). The motion passed on a unanimous roll call, 7–0.
Resolution 3 authorized the city manager to enter into real estate listing agreements for two city‑owned parcels. The motion was moved and seconded and approved 7–0 by roll call.
Resolution 4 authorized the tax collector to offer properties to abutting property owners (a disposition process for tax‑delinquent properties). The council moved and seconded the resolution and approved it 7–0 by roll call.
A final motion to adjourn was made by Alderman Nystrom, seconded by Alderman Nash, and carried 7–0 as well. No public comments on the agenda items were recorded during the public‑comment period.
