City Manager (Speaker 4) explained the change order includes quantity adjustments, conversion to concrete pavement at the West Williams Street and Shelton intersection, added work on Oakwood and Northglenn Street and replacement of a shallow water line at Second and North Miller. He said the contract time will increase from 120 to 150 days and the contract amount will increase by $279,698.95. "We folded it into this contract... the contract amount by $279,698.95," said Speaker 4.
Speaker 1 moved to approve the change order and Speaker 2 seconded; the council approved the adjustment by voice vote.
Staff said the change order remains under the 25% increase threshold from the original contract maximum and the work is integrated into ongoing Phase 3 construction.
