The Town of Southborough Conservation Commission began by approving the minutes of Dec. 4, 2025, after a commissioner noted they had been present for part of that meeting and staff agreed to correct the attendance. The chair called the motion to approve the minutes as amended by Joe and the commission voted by roll call to approve.
Two public hearings were continued: an amended Order of Conditions for 8 Shipper Farm Lane (applicants Bruce and Kimberly Hall) was continued at the applicant's request for further neighbor discussions and plan tweaks, and a Notice of Intent for 11 Brook Lane (Kalbinder Real) was continued because the applicant lacked a DEP number and was awaiting responses to peer review comments. Both continuances were moved, seconded and approved by roll call.
Staff said they will send a scope to stewardship for farm dump restoration procurement and that stewardship may procure plants directly to reduce costs. The commission also noted and praised Mark, a long‑standing commission member, for 35–36 years of service and discussed planning a small recognition event.
With no further business, the commission moved, seconded and approved adjournment.
