The project is funded through a CHIP grant administered by the city; staff described a reimbursement workflow in which Habitat submits invoices, the city submits those invoices to the state and then reimburses Habitat. Staff said the grant includes milestone requirements and estimated the grant’s end date as June 2027 for the infrastructure‑reimbursement portion of the award.
Staff said all signs indicate the Habitat project is moving forward and that she will monitor milestone compliance and coordination with grant administration.
