Sequim Planning Commission elects new chair and vice chair

The Sequim Planning Commission voted Jan. 6 to install new leadership for 2026, electing Eileen as chair and Julianne as vice chair.
The commission opened nominations for chair; Speaker 6 (identified in discussion as Larry) said, “I nominate Eileen.” No additional nominations were offered, members voted in favor and the chair nomination was approved with no opposition recorded. Nominations for vice chair followed. Julianne accepted the nomination and the commission similarly approved her election with no recorded opposition. The outgoing chair agreed to finish the current meeting and prepare to transition leadership at the next meeting.
The actions taken at the meeting were recorded on the agenda and entered into the minutes; no roll-call tallies were recorded in the meeting transcript. The commission will proceed with its scheduled business under the newly elected leadership.
