Calistoga proclaims thanks to Planning Commissioner Timothy Wilkes on his retirement

The proclamation noted Wilkes joined the Planning Commission in January 2014 and commended his commitment to reviewing development proposals, land-use policy and planning initiatives that helped guide the city’s growth while preserving its character. Wilkes accepted the recognition, thanked fellow volunteers and urged the council to retain Planning Director Desmond, saying, "Desmond is a keeper." The council expressed its appreciation and best wishes for his retirement.
The proclamation was read aloud by council members and will be included in the meeting minutes.
