The Environmental Planning Commission conducted its officer elections at the close of its Jan. 7 meeting. Commissioner Cranston nominated Vice Chair Michelle Nunez to be chair for 2026; Nunez accepted and the commission approved her nomination by unanimous roll call.
Commissioner Cranston then nominated Commissioner Paul Donahue for vice chair; Donahue accepted and was unanimously elected by roll call. The City Clerk recorded the votes and staff will update the commission roster and meeting materials to show the new leadership for 2026. The commission will carry these leadership changes into upcoming hearings on the R‑3 code update and the city council study session on SB‑79.
