Planning commission recommends general plan change, forwards rezoning to allow Harlequin Drive duplex

The Prescott Valley Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously Jan. 12 to recommend approval of General Plan Amendment 25-002 and to forward Zoning Map Change 25-009 to the Town Council to allow a two-unit duplex on the subject property.
Planner Britney Cleveland told the commission the parcel is currently zoned RL-10 (single-family) and the applicant seeks an RS designation to permit a duplex. Cleveland said the applicant held the required neighborhood meeting and "the applicant stated that nobody attended the neighborhood meeting," which staff interprets as no recorded opposition.
