At the Jan. 12 Raymore City Council meeting, members approved several routine and administrative items by voice vote.
Consent agenda: The council approved minutes (Dec. 22, 2025), appointments to incentive district boards (Resolution 2601), acceptance and final payment for the 2025 curb replacement project (Resolution 2603), and appointment of Yvette Sabur to the Raymore Arts Commission (Resolution 2604). The consent agenda passed unanimously.
Municipal court code: Second reading and adoption of Bill 4006 amended Chapter 130 of the Raymore City Code to adjust municipal court operations and management. The measure passed unanimously.
Belton inmate housing agreement: Council approved an intergovernmental agreement (Bill 4010) with the Belton Police Department for municipal jail inmate housing. Chief Wilson said the contract has a two‑year term and an $18 increase from the prior rate. One council member disclosed a spouse's leadership role at Belton and stated counsel advised participation was acceptable; the vote was unanimous.
Website contract and budget amendment: Staff recommended Revise LLC for website design and hosting after an RFQ process with 10 respondents. Council approved the contract (Bill 4009) and a corresponding FY2026 budget amendment of $68,500 (Bill 4011) to fund the work; both measures passed unanimously.
TIF annual report: Staff presented the tax increment financing (TIF) annual report covering three active TIFs (Raymore Galleria, Foxwood Village Shops, Highway 58/Dean Avenue) and noted recent state legislation restricting future TIF use in Cass County. The public hearing included no speakers and was closed.
All approved measures will proceed to implementation according to standard contracting and budget amendment procedures.
