On Jan. 12, the Sumner County legislative committee voted to recommend that the full commission change its start time to 6:00 p.m., with the change expected to take effect after approval by the full commission.

Committee members discussed scheduling conflicts for other committees and noted the timing change would need to be approved on the commission floor. Several members spoke in favor of the adjustment and the committee voted to forward the recommendation.

The chair and members expected the change, if approved by the full commission, to take effect in February. No roll-call vote counts were transcribed; the chair recorded the motion as carried.
