Jim Long, Constable for Precinct 3, presented the annual racial profiling report to the Jim Wells County Commissioners Court as required by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.

Long told the court the report had been submitted and, when asked if there were issues, stated, “No, sir. No racial no racial discriminations whatsoever.” Court members acknowledged receipt of the report; the transcript records a motion and vote in connection with the presentation although staff noted the item was a presentation and did not strictly require a motion.

No additional complaints or statistical concerns were raised during the meeting. The court accepted the report into the record and moved to the next agenda item.
