The licenses cover multiple downtown venues that applied to serve wine and malt at Arts Night Out, including Cedar Chest (Oneomania LLC), Stay Golden (Assemble LLC), Made and Curated, Pinch (Lulu Bell Inc.), Click Workspace Inc., Familiars Coffee & Tea (Icor LLC), Thorns Marketplace LLC, Hope and Feathers Framing, Joe Smith Studio Gallery, and Northampton Center for the Arts.
The commission's approval was made subject to each location completing required short‑term liquor license inspections by the fire department. Amanda Shaffee said DNA is planning Arts Night Out as a recurring second‑Friday event to encourage visitation to downtown Northampton and to provide a mix of programming that includes artists, performances and businesses.
