Council appoints new planning-commission alternates and tree-committee members

Each applicant spoke briefly about their background and interest in serving; Beckstead noted 20 years residency and a desire to give back; Lister described her ecological and conservation background and Audubon leadership experience.
Motions to approve the appointments were made and seconded on the record, and each motion carried with unanimous council votes.
