The student representative reported recent student accomplishments and upcoming activities to the board, noting that five choir students participated in the PMEA District 2 choir festival with two advancing to Region 2, that DECA competitors placed at regionals and will advance to state, and that the girls basketball team won the Elk County holiday tournament and holds a 10–2 record.
The representative also celebrated a wrestling milestone—Jace Walter’s 100th win—and summarized National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society inductions, estimating the current NHS members will collectively complete over 1,500 hours of community service by year-end. "By the time an NHS student graduates, they will have provided at least 50 hours of volunteer service," the student reported.
The board thanked the student for the update; staff also noted strong participation at the recent farm show by the FFA chapter and confirmed administrative coverage during staff absences at that event.
