South Bend City Common Council elects Kenneth Lee president, approves leadership slate and extends attorney

The council opened the session with nominations for leadership. After an unnamed council member nominated Kenneth Lee and the nomination was seconded, the clerk conducted a roll-call vote. Council members McBride, Warner, Neskoski, White, Gooden Rogers, Thomas Morgan and Lee voted yes, producing seven affirmative votes. The clerk then turned the meeting over to Council President Kenneth Lee, who thanked members.
