The Bourbon County Board of Commissioners approved two procurement items at its Jan. 12 meeting: a contract/letter from Schwab Eaton for bridge inspection and associated data services, and the purchase of HAGO (also referred to in discussion as HEYGov/HAGO) agenda/minutes software.
The Schwab Eaton item listed multiple services and fees, including routine inspection updates and data services with line items described in the letter. The chair moved to sign the contract on behalf of the county so Public Works can pay the invoice from its budget; the motion passed by voice vote.
Separately, commissioners voted to purchase the HAGO agenda software after a staff demonstration that showed features including agenda authoring, attachments, YouTube integration and auto-generated minutes. Commissioners discussed price tiers and mobile usability; the board approved the purchase by voice vote.
