Willis as zoning hearing board solicitor; Michael Mandarin Law LLC as civil service solicitor; Catania/Cantania Engineering Associates as borough engineer; commercial and residential building inspectors (including Sean Guthrie); John Grant as electrical inspector; Rob Montella and Erin Schultz as fire safety officials; Steve Schultz as emergency management coordinator and John J. Woolworth as deputy coordinator; Charles Leslie as fire marshal; William Gavin as zoning officer; Harry Swangam for building services; and Dr. Robert Crowell as health advisor. Council approved these motions by voice votes; the transcript records aye responses and no formal roll-call tallies.
Several officials took the oath of office earlier in the meeting, including Laura Reed, Daniel Burt and Mary Zimmer. After appointments and remarks, council adjourned the reorganization session.
The meeting featured a series of brief remarks by mayor Marino J. Croce and members who emphasized unity, fiscal stewardship and community engagement as priorities for the new term. Mayor Croce opened nominations and thanked outgoing officials for prior service.
