Commissioners agree to add Boys & Girls Club appropriation increase to tonight's agenda

County staff said the usual process is to email a request and complete an application; because this item required amending the consent agenda it would need to be moved out of consent and added to new business for consideration tonight.
Chair said Commissioner Grant would add the item under new business and that a motion would be expected at that time. Commissioners discussed whether to act tonight or wait until the next meeting; they agreed to add it under new business for tonight’s commission meeting so the request can be considered.
There was no formal vote on an increase recorded at the work session; staff said if approved the county would send an amended agreement and then issue payment.
