Council committee advances High Vale Phase I final plat after utility and street-name clarifications

Planning staff (Speaker 10) described the final plat for High Vale Phase I, a subdivision of eight houses primarily accessed from Breckenridge Road with at least one home off Colston. Staff noted two outstanding comments at the time the memo was prepared: Cobb County had not yet approved the street name (staff reported Cobb County has since approved Arborcroft Court), and a utility pole currently sits in a driveway and the developer has committed to coordinating with the power utility to relocate that pole underground within the next week.
Speaker 10 also said the developer requested an LLC name change to incorporate the High Vale name; that legal entity change will be reflected in the final documents if moved forward. Committee members confirmed the two outstanding items would be resolved in the work session and then moved and seconded a motion to advance the item to the agenda work session.
No final plat approval was adopted in committee; the motion forwarded the item for further review at the agenda work session where staff expects the outstanding comments to be cleared.
