Council also voted to enter executive session to discuss potential or pending litigation, including annexation-related matters and arbitration that the city’s attorney flagged for closed discussion under state law. Legal counsel cited OCGA provisions governing executive sessions and noted that follow-up public action may be required after the closed discussion.
Councilmembers said they will resume public business after the closed session and that any required disclosures or actions stemming from litigation discussions will be provided in open session where appropriate.
