The South Lebanon City Council voted on multiple items under new business and finance during the regular session.
Emergency resolutions: Council adopted Emergency Resolution 2026-1 to renew the city's liability insurance with Ohio Plan Risk Management Inc.; Emergency Resolution 2026-2 to authorize a three-year HVAC maintenance agreement with Train US; and Emergency Resolution 2025-3 to accept a proposal from GSI and authorize the mayor and director of finance to sign related documents. For each resolution the council voted to waive the two-reading rule and then to adopt by title; roll-call votes were recorded and each motion carried.
Invoices and minutes: Council approved invoices on the agenda after a motion and second. The council also approved the minutes for the 12/11/2025 special meeting and the 12/18/2025 regular meeting; two members recorded abstentions on the minutes vote (Sharon Carmack and David Smith) and the motion nonetheless carried.
Vote practice and record: Votes during the meeting were taken by roll call with members answering in turn (Allen, Carmack, Combs, Feder, Harrison, Smith, and a member recorded as "Better"). The mayor presided over votes and, where needed, broke a tie in the vice-mayor election earlier in the session.
The council did not record any failed motions on these items; all listed resolutions and routine financial items passed during the meeting.
