Residents press council on leaf pickup after difficult season; public works outlines limits and options

He said recent record snowfalls required changing equipment and that leaves mixed with snow, ice, sticks or other debris clog collection machinery. Ben said village crews are working as fast as staffing permits and stated, "Today, all resident leaves are picked up." He recommended residents bag leaves for predictable Tuesday pickups by Rumpke if they want a specific day.
