At its Dec. 31 meeting, the Rogers County commissioners handled multiple procurement items covering winter materials, detention commissary supplies and road-and-bridge materials.
Procurement staff presented a rebid for road salt covering Jan. 1–June 30, 2026. Hutchinson Salt submitted the lowest delivered prices for multiple districts and product sizes; the board voted to award the salt contract to Hutchinson Salt.
On road-and-bridge materials, staff recommended Anchor Stone as the primary vendor for graded riprap in District 3 (Green Hill as secondary) based on quality and location; commissioners approved the recommendation.
For commissary items at the Rogers County Detention Facility, staff reported three qualified bids (Prodigy Solutions; ICS Gel Supplies; Kiefy/Kefi Group LLC) and provided vendor spreadsheets for review in the county clerk’s office. The board moved to table the commissary award for one week to allow detailed spreadsheet review.
The board also approved nine blanket purchase orders totaling $21,500 and approved a $19.02 overage on a December PO to Image First of Dallas LLC due to extra delivery during the holiday week.
