Board approves scaled‑down administrative amendment to Weaver Street greenhouse

The Planning Board approved an administrative amendment for PB 12‑2025 on Dec. 16 that scales down a previously approved greenhouse at 815 Weaver Street. Architect and representative Robert Sanzial described replacing the original 9,600‑square‑foot proposal (120 ft wide by 80 ft deep, 24‑ft peak) with a more economical prefabricated structure approximately 7,200 sq ft (90 ft wide by 80 ft deep) and a reduced peak height (about 19 ft).
Sanzial said the revised design retains proposed on‑site cisterns to collect rainwater for irrigation, proposed permeable pavers for portions of the parking area, and the landscaping commitments from the earlier approval. He described deeper footings and secure anchoring for columns to address wind uplift concerns. Board members noted the lower profile should be less visually prominent for neighbors; the board voted to approve the administrative amendment.
