The Centennial School District board opened its Jan. 13 work session with a tribute to longtime director Jane Schroeder Lynch and announced a public application process to fill her Region 3 vacancy.
At the start of the meeting the board led the Pledge of Allegiance and observed a moment of silence for Lynch, who served 18 years on the board. The board also played a video tribute honoring Lynch’s service.
Board officials announced that interested candidates must be at least 18 years old and have resided in Region 3 (Warminster Township) for at least one full year. Applicants should submit a letter of interest and resume to Colleen Rusch, school board secretary, at 48 Swan Way, Warminster, PA 18974, or by email at ruchco@centennialsd.org. The application deadline is Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, at 4 p.m.; interviews will take place at a public meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 27 and the appointment will be made that same night. The appointed term will be effective through December 2027.
The board’s remarks highlighted Lynch’s years of volunteer service to the district and noted her community leadership. No formal vote was required to open the application process.
