Caddo Parish confirms Sharron Williams as human resources director

The Caddo Parish Commission unanimously confirmed Sharron Williams as director of human resources on Thursday after CEO Bridal recommended her for the post.
CEO Bridal introduced Williams to the commission, citing her education (Southern University and Southern University Law School) and lengthy human-resources experience. Vice President Ken Epperson moved confirmation and Commissioner Stefan Jones seconded the motion. The motion carried 12–0.
After the vote Williams addressed the commission: “This is truly a beautiful and exciting day for me… I'm looking forward to working to serve the citizens of Caddo Parish and working with this wonderful team,” she said, thanking colleagues, family and staff in attendance.
Next steps: Williams will assume duties as director and administration will coordinate onboarding and department oversight with the commission.
