Middleton commission elects vice chair, approves consent items

MIDDLETON, Idaho — The Middleton Planning & Zoning Commission elected Commissioner Gibson as vice chair and approved routine business items at its Jan. 12 meeting.
Chair Matthew Watkins nominated Gibson for vice chair; the nomination was seconded (recorded as "Clinger/Klinger") and the commission voted in favor. The commission then approved a consent agenda that included approval of the Dec. 8, 2025 meeting minutes, the FCR for the Quarry East Subdivision development agreement modification, and the FCI for the Waterford Subdivision amended preliminary plat; Commissioner Gregory moved the consent motion and Commissioner Gibson seconded. The consent agenda passed unanimously.
These actions were taken before a public hearing on proposed comprehensive plan map and text amendments.
The commission adjourned at 6:43 p.m.
