Kara Conlien, board chair of Noah's Maternity Hope Cottage, used the public comment period to announce the organization’s inaugural fundraiser, "Love Heals." The event is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 7, at 6 p.m. at the Salisbury Fraternal Order of Police, 814 Albert Street. Conlien described the evening as a gala dinner and auction with food, desserts, a silent and live auction, and testimonies from women helped by maternity cottages. Ticket prices start at $75 for an individual and $125 for a couple; sponsorship opportunities and a full-table naming option were described, with a noted sponsorship level that includes room naming at the cottage.
