Summary
The Ways and Means committee reported three items: a $150 correction to a Glenville special-district tax levy, reapproval of the county investment policy with no changes, and authorization for the Commissioner of Finance to process tax corrections/refunds under $2,500 for 2026.

The Ways and Means committee reported three administrative resolutions. Commissioner of Finance Jackie Falotico explained a $150 reduction to a previously approved Glenville special-district tax levy (W&M 1). On the county’s investment policy (W&M 2), staff completed the annual review, recommended no substantive changes to the policy adopted in 2024 (Resolution 83-24) and the committee reapproved it. The final item (W&M 3) authorized the Commissioner to process real property tax corrections and refunds up to $2,500 for calendar year 2026. Each item was moved and approved by voice votes and will be placed on the legislature’s agenda.
These are routine finance and administrative items; the investment-policy review did not recommend changes and the tax-correction authorization continues standard departmental practice.
