The Evendale Village Council read and unanimously adopted four emergency ordinances at its meeting following committee reports.

Ordinance 26-01 authorized transfers from the general fund and the Arrowhub TIF fund to various other funds and was declared an emergency and adopted following motions to suspend the second and third readings and to adopt the emergency clause. Council voted by roll call with all members recorded as voting yes.

Ordinance 26-02 (a "then-and-now" ordinance) authorized payment of amounts due under certain contracts with required certification of availability of funds; the council suspended further readings, adopted the emergency clause and adopted the ordinance as an emergency.

Ordinance 26-03 rejected all bids on the Arrowhub entry-signage project and was adopted as an emergency after motions to suspend remaining readings; councilors said the bids exceeded expectations and thus could not be accepted.

Ordinance 26-04 (by title) was read, moved and adopted as an emergency; council discussed the possibility that a state action could later render a locally adopted provision inoperative (if found unconstitutional), and the mayor confirmed that if declared unconstitutional the ordinance would not take effect.

Each ordinance was passed on unanimous roll-call votes recorded during the meeting. No amendments or dissenting votes were recorded in the transcript. The ordinances were declared adopted as emergencies and took immediate effect under council action at the meeting.
