The Weber County Board of Commissioners voted to appoint Justin Weston to the Taylor West Weaver Park District under Resolution 03‑2026 during its Jan. 13 meeting.

Stacy Skeen, who presented the item, said the county reposted board openings after previous appointees’ terms expired and received a single application from Justin Weston. Skeen asked the commission to approve his appointment; she told commissioners the term would expire Dec. 31, 2029.

A motion to approve Resolution 03‑2026 was made and seconded, and the commission conducted a roll call vote. Commissioner Sharon Bolos was recorded as voting "Aye" during the roll call; the chair then moved the meeting to the next agenda item, indicating the appointment had been approved.

The appointment fills an open trustee position on the Taylor West Weaver Park District and the appointee’s term will run through the end of 2029.
