City attorney Molly Aswein told council the city had deposited $99,600 into the court registry as the appraised just and adequate compensation and that the property owner, identified in staff remarks as H and M Alpharetta LLC, agreed to accept that deposited amount.
Aswein explained this action does not represent a settlement that changed the original offer; rather, the owner agreed to take the deposited funds and the city now seeks authorization for the mayor to sign all necessary documents to close the matter. Council moved to approve the consent order and final judgment with authorization for the mayor to sign related documents; the motion passed unanimously.
The council recorded the tax parcel as 11-0260-0120-036-1 in the motion and asked staff to finalize documents for court filing and administrative closure.
