Commissioners also previewed operating and capital items for the budget cycle, including a request for a second park ranger to improve coverage on busy days.
Commissioners asked staff to include clearer budget breakdowns (e.g., which revenues go to revolving funds) and to bring permit and registration counts to the next discussion so the commission can match permitting policy to field capacity.
