Council also created a Neighborhood Traffic Management Program (NTMP) subcommittee and nominated Councilwomen Roberts, Brown and Patterson to serve; staff said $50,000 was allocated for NTMP projects in the current cycle.
Council discussed the NTMP process at length: applications are accepted annually (January–March), staff performs technical review, and the subcommittee would meet to review eligible applications and be better positioned to advocate for prioritized projects when they come before full council. Staff emphasized that the subcommittee would be advisory and not make final approvals. Council also approved formation of an HOA education subcommittee to provide resident outreach and training opportunities.
