Logistics provided to the council: the conference is set for Jan. 24 at the Central Union High School STEM building, hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., registration closes Monday the 12th at 11:59 p.m., and organizers plan to provide breakfast and lunch at no cost to participants.
Council members and attendees responded positively, praising the program’s goals and regional reach. Sotomayor noted the project has been approved by the Soroptimist International Foundation and that city sponsorship would be featured in the program’s impact report and broader federation communications.
