The Germantown School District's Buildings & Grounds staff briefed trustees on facility work and repairs at the committee meeting on Jan. 13.
Frank Lord reviewed the December work‑order completion report and said "the December general overview was 128 completed work orders," noting one work order had a 45‑day completion span and that most requests were marked medium priority. Trustees pressed for clearer guidance on priority selection and for photographs in future reports; Lord agreed to add photos of representative repairs.
On the Dreamfield dugouts project Lord said benches and helmet/bat racks have been delivered and installed, concluding construction pending spring painting of Warhawk logos and minor punch‑list fixes (additional crushed granite and fence tightening).
The committee also heard an update on roof‑deck debris that had fallen into the Germantown High School Tech Ed area during summer roof replacement. Per consultant notes presented by staff, repairs to the concrete roof deck were carried out the week of Aug. 25 using polymer‑modified cementitious patching, followed by cleaning by Kelman Restoration. Staff said there was no structural damage and no machinery or equipment injuries to report.
Trustees requested before/after photos where appropriate and follow‑up verification for some technical items; administration agreed to provide additional visual documentation and vendor follow‑up where needed.
