The Santa Barbara Single Family Design Board held its January 12 meeting and elected Don Cherry as chair and nominated Moslihy as vice chair, the board announced during a roll-call vote that followed member nominations. Vice Chair Sherry presided over the opening and roll call before the election.
The election was conducted by motion and second; board members recorded affirmative votes and the motion passed. The board then approved previous meeting minutes and ratified the consent calendar item (project design and final approval for 1030 Arbelato Road) before moving on to project hearings. Chair Sherry later recused herself from the first project on the agenda and Vice Chair Moslihy acted as chair for that item.
The board also announced the consent-review schedule and reminded members to contact staff for any schedule changes. The meeting proceeded to three project items: a continued residential addition at 40 Loma Media Road, a Mountain Avenue final-approval request, and a major concept review for Coyote Road.
