Jordan Rausch, presenting the staff report, said the proposed Hack House Performance facility would occupy approximately half of an existing industrial building previously used by an elite soccer academy. "This is a conditional use permit for an indoor baseball training facility ... focused on strength and conditioning," Jordan said, describing batting cages, turf training areas and interior strength zones. Staff recommended approval subject to the conditions listed in the packet.
During the public hearing, an attendee asked whether the east‑side parking is accessed across a neighboring property. Jordan clarified that part of the pavement serves both parcels but that vehicle access for the east‑side parking is on the subject property.
